Itinerary of 13 Days Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Airport pick up

On arrival you will meet and greet with our driver at Kilimanjaro airport. Later transfer in a comfortable Safari vehicle up to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Arusha – Drive to Lake Manyara

Early in the morning you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a home to abundant Wildlife species including the tree climbing lions. While on an afternoon game drive expect to see other wild animals like Buffaloes, elephants, hippos, dik-dik, baboons, birds such as cormorants, storks, pelicans and more.

Day 3: Game viewing in Lake Manyara

You will do a second game drive to see more animals including the rarely see tree climbing lions. After come back to lodge to relax.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Drive to Serengeti

After incredible Wildlife encounters in Lake Manyara you continue to Serengeti for more. This park delights tourists with awesome views of the Wilderness and the migrating Wildebeests.

Day 5: Game Drive in Serengeti

Have your morning breakfast and after take a full day game drive. This excursion enchants tourists with endless views of migrating Wildebeests and other animals like elephants, giraffes, Zebras, baboons, antelopes and more.

Day 6: Serengeti Northern Area (Wildebeest Migration)

After morning breakfast you will embark the Safari vehicle with your packed lunch and head to the south of Serengeti. You will admire scenic views of millions of wildebeests, 200000 zebras and thousands of gazelles as they stroll around. You will stop for lunch and later proceed with the drive while following the migrants.

Day 7: Hot air balloon ride – Evening game drive

Next day you admire the beauty of the entire pack from the basket of a hot air balloon. This is one of the best experience not to miss in Serengeti National Park.

From the skies you see animals grazing, views of mountains and stretching grasslands. After you return to the lodge for relaxation and an evening game drive.

Day 8: Serengeti – Stop over at Olduvai Gorge

Have morning breakfast and game drive followed by lunch and later check out for a transfer to the Ngoro Ngoro conservation area including stop over at the Olduvai Gorge.

Day 9: Tour Ngorongoro Conservation area

After a night stay in this area, you will have a tour of this natural scenery. This tour takes through the forests where you can see monkeys, the lake area occupied by some flamingoes and the open savannah usually roamed by the African big fives.

Day 10: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Tarangire.

From Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch, you will continue to Tarangire National Park. You will arrive after lunch time and an evening game drive is possible. This drive treats tourists with views of baobab trees, wild animals like leopards, lions, giraffes and more.

Day 11 & 12: Tarangire Cultural encounters.

Early in the morning, you will do something different. Not wildlife but just culture, you will visit the local tribes in the Tarangire area just to experience their way of living, history and cultural norms. Some tribes like Masai and Datoga will entertain you with their cultural dances.

Day 13: Tarangire – Drive back to Arusha

After breakfast you will start the amazing journey with your packed lunch back to Arusha town. Drop off at Kilimanjaro international airport for your return flight.
