Itinerary: 14 Days Uganda Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Jinja

On arrival you will meet our representative and driver at Entebbe airport. Share greetings and after embark on a journey to Jinja. This drive requires not more than three hours. You will reach in the evening. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: White water rafting – Kampala

Early in the morning after breakfast, check out and transfer to the office headquarters for a company that operates the rafting experience on the waters of river Nile. Have a short briefing and after shift up to the starting point. Rafting starts in the morning up to afternoon. After the great experience on the waters you drive back to Kampala for a night stay.

Day 3: Kampala – Ziwa – Murchison

In the morning check out to start the drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda. This drive includes a stopover in Nakasongola for rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. After continue to Murchison. Lunch is provided en route.

Day 4: Game Drive & Boat cruise

Early in the morning the driver will pick you and go for a morning game drive around the major hotspots in the Park. This exposes you to different Wildlife species like Wild animals including elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, hippos, leopards, bird species, reptiles and more. After a 2-3 hours game drive return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon launch trip cruise.

Day 5: Top of the falls – Kibale

In the morning you will visit the top of the falls to see the plunging waters. From there you start the drive to Kibale forest national park. This drive requires not less than seven hours. Lunch is provided enroute

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking

Early in morning after your breakfast, set off with the driver guide to the park offices for briefing, after briefing, at around 8:00am you will start chimpanzee tracking through this rain-forest being led by the park rangers.

This is always an exciting experience to meet chimpanzee primates face to face in the Jungle and watching them performing different daily activities like playing, jumping on tree branches, feeding and more.

While in Jungle you are exposed to other Wildlife species habited within the Jungle including monkeys like colobus monkeys, vervet and more.

Day 7: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth

After two nights in Kibale you check out to proceed with the safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This drive takes not more than four hours. You will reach in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge. Later you do an evening game drive.

Day 8: Game drive & Boat cruise

Early in the morning have your delicious breakfast at the lodge and after be in for the morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains exposing you to different Wildlife species including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, kobs, spotted hyenas and more.

After 3-4 hours game drive transfer back to your lodge or Mweya canteen for lunch as you get prepared for the afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel. This boat cruise exposes you to different Wildlife species. After return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Tree climbing Lions in Ishasha

Next day you have a drive in the Southern Ishasha sector to see the popularly known tree climbing lions.

Day 10: Ishasha – Drive to Bwindi

After morning breakfast, check out for the exciting journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector. Lunch is provided en route and arrive at the lodge near or within the Park in afternoon. Enjoy your dinner and an overnight.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking

Have morning breakfast and after go for the briefing with your packed lunch about how to behave while in Jungle and in presence of these Mountain Gorillas. After briefing, the journey to the Jungle is started following the permanently established routes in search of these apes. Locating these apes in the Jungle you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing with young ones, feeding, resting and more. After the exciting Gorilla trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with undulating view of landscapes.

Day 12: Boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast in the morning and after be in for the exciting boat cruise along the waters of Lake Bunyonyi. You visit its beautiful islands. After return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day resting at the lodge.

Day 13: Bunyonyi – Drive to Kampala

After the exciting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi you start the exciting journey back to Kampala including en route stopover in Mbarara for lunch. After proceed to Kampala for an overnight in the city.

Day 14: City tour – Departure

Early in the morning, you do a tour around the city. Visit different allures such as the Kasubi tombs, Namugongo shrines, Bahai temple, Uganda museum, craft shops in down town Kampala and more. After transfer up to the airport for your return flight.
